Hi! My name is Marina, 

I grew up in the rich cultural landscape of Arnhem Land then on to a large property in the NSW bushland which instilled an immeasurable love and fascination with our natural world. 

Iwas a wild farm kid who stacked motor bikes a lot but also spent countless hours alone on my horse with no one for miles, which allowed me the peace and leisure  of observing Mother Nature, her rhythms, patterns and wildness. 

It was natural that everything around me held a spirit all of its own. From the wildlife to the  trees, plants, rocks, waterways and limitless sky.

It would be years later standing in a bookshop in London that this feeling had a name. Animism. It was this deep connection to our natural world and a burning homesickness after living abroad for 22 years, that called me to immerse myself in all the teachings of the plants.

I literally sold most of my wardrobe on ebay and purchased countless books on ancient folk lore herbal traditions, the prominent healing systems and history of herbalism, to wild crafting, medicine making and the esoteric tradition of medical astrology and alchemy. I poured over books, websites, readings, took numerous courses and got outside every day in nature to observe or wildcraft. 

My heart and path were forged and it wasn't long after we landed back in Australia, husband, three kids and English bulldog Zeppy,  that I decided to formally study natural medicine through my Bachelor of Health Sciences (Naturopathy) degree. 

However, being human upon this earth is never without challenges. In that time I lost two beautiful doggies, healed from crippling anxiety after some enormous life events, switched jobs, moved house twice and juggled the usual parenting circus all on limited sleep. 

I am a very down to earth, compassionate heart-centred, chatty warm introvert who is a lover of all things wild and forever student of Mother Nature and I thank you for reading this far.
